Hi. I’m Stephen. I gave my life to The Lord when I was six. I have enjoyed helping others since I was young. I attribute my passion for flying to my parents who faithfully brought me to air shows. I went on my first mission trip in 2004 where missions aviation came to life for me on the tributaries of the Amazon river when our medical team was flown in on a floatplane. Little did I know, the next ten years would be filled with such joy. During these years, I married the love of my life and we have been blessed with four wonderful children. We have been on several mission trips, and have attended the Missions program at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Tx. We waited until Silas was six months old to complete the ten week internship in the Peten region of Guatemala with Go to Nations. It was here where our entire family learned to function with a missions team. I am currently working on technical certifications necessary for Missions Aviation.
Hi. I’m Candace. My earliest memory is from when I was 3 years old. And its of the moment I gave my life to Christ. I can still see my dad sitting on the rocker in our living room telling me about Peter denying Christ and then me praying to give my heart to Jesus. I’d say that since then, God has cultivated in me a heart to evangelize and tell the world of His great love. As a teenager, I felt God calling me to foreign missions. After I graduated high school I wanted to go to Bible school, but my parents were insistent that I go to college for a degree. So I did; and 5 years later I graduated with a nursing degree. While in college, Stephen and I became friends. When I learned that he was called to missions I knew that we were a perfect fit. But that’s another story for another time. It was when we were at Christ for the Nations that God really put a burning desire to bring the Gospel to the unreached nations of the world, the places where few missionaries go and where Christ is not named. We believe that God will use us in aviation and medicine to gain access to these unreached places. We are so blessed to have 4 amazing kids who have also caught hold of this vision. To those who know them, it is apparent that they too were created for this.
